Sleep is essential for a person’s health and well being and is an important part of memory, weight loss, mood and even childhood development. Yet millions of Americans – including teens and adolescents – do not get enough sleep and many more suffer from some type of sleep disorder. MaryRose Hancock, manager of the Christiana Care Sleep Disorders Center, discusses the importance of sleep for adults and children.
